Landscape irrigation is a watering system that is used to create and maintain lawns, gardens, parks and custom landscapes. The primary function of a landscape irrigation system is to ensure that water is spread regularly and evenly throughout any given landscape. STREGA LoRa wireless smart valve can help Municipalities to provide a quick an easy implementation of remotely operated valves without the burden (and the costs) of encoders-decoders. Connecting a new zone to water becomes straight forward: add a smart valve onto the main line and you are ready to control the irrigation from your Control Center.
Construction sites, traffic medians, roundabouts, rural properties, municipal parks…all places that lack standard electric power. But with the STREGA wireless smart valve System, we make it possible for Muncipalities in charge of landscape irrigation to enjoy the benefits of advanced irrigation. Battery life is guaranteed through many years, making replacement a simple task. And to reach the valve, the Operator can communicate with it from kilometers away, even in urban areas. Plus, with all installed components hidden safely underground and out of view, only the STERGA wireless smart valve system is truly vandal-resistant.
With the STREGA LoRa wireless smart valve, there are no extra satellite irrigation controllers required. Because satellites are very accessible, they are easy targets of vandalism.
You get an immediate valve Open/Close control and a feedback (optional flow meter input) directly from each zone.
The weatherproof valves (IP68) are buried 12 to 24 inches below surface level. Each smart-valve has its own identification number that is logged at the central control center.
Future expansion has never been so easy: just install the valve into the irrigation box and you are ready to go.
No wires means also no indirect lightning effect making the use of lightning arrestors simply not necessary.
